Beaded Cameroon Shield - Red

Our Beaded Cameroon Shield is a great way to add character to a shelf, table or office. This shield showcase a cowrie center and edging. They are hand carved from one piece of wood by the Tikar tribe of Cameroon making each shield unique. The shields are adorned with a combination of glass beads, cowrie shells and manilla string.

Traditionally these shields were used as defensive weapons, decor or, ritual objects which symbolizes status and wealth.
